I Want To Be a Real Chef

May 18, 2010

You all know that Hayden loves to cook.   He gets creative with his ingredients, cooking LEGOS, puzzle pieces, and cheerio pies.  His favorite is when I let him help do some real cooking, like adding herbs to the pot, or helping stir something on the stove.  Sometimes I will give him the scraps, like carrot tops, chard stems, etc.  He “cooks” them in a pan or transfers them from one bowl to another.  These aprons and almost-real cooking tools would thrill any aspiring chef or culinary artist.

Kid Sized Aprons

I found all of these on Etsy!

Great substitute for the real thing- even comes with a kid-safe knife and cutting board.

Just like Mom and Dad’s, but made from safe, easy to hold plastic.

I’m with Patty. I wanted a damn EZ bake oven. My parents wouldn’t buy me one because they were mean.
